Apparently us peasants are not the richest of our land. Although we have to make a substantial amount of money just to pay for the necessities of our life like shelter, clothing, and food. We do things that we are not very proud of. The men usually work on crop fields if they are aloud by the owners of the land. They will work for a very little amount of money although for a very long time.
The Peasant woman in the victorian era had to do certain things so they could achieve a stable amount of money. This certain thing just so happens to be prostitution. The trade of sexual activities in exchange of money they would desperately need only for the simple things in life ofcourse, no privileges added ofcourse.
